Scanning, Calibration and Reprogramming

With ever-changing advancements in technology, your car, truck and SUV come with a large list of safety features, sensors and systems that need special attention after an accident. A small fender bender can throw off any one of these systems and cause them not to work properly in a secondary accident or in your everyday driving. Stadium Auto Body with our Fix It Safe program has trained technicians and the proper equipment to diagnose and repair these very important features correctly.

Pre-Repair diagnostic scan is a complete health check of your vehicle and provides the repair shop (and insurance company, if applicable) a complete report on the number of computer modules on board, as well as any diagnostic trouble codes (DTC’s) that could indicate pre-accident and/or accident related damage.

Post-Repair diagnostic scan ensures that all systems on your vehicle are in proper working order and is safe to drive. It is important to note that the majority of DTC’s do not result in a malfunction indicator lamp (dashboard light).

Calibration

OEM Calibration is required

  • If any of the following components are replaced or unplugged.
    • (Bumpers, Windshields, Rear view mirrors, Cameras)
  • If any of the components are removed from its mounting surface.

Reprogramming is needed on a vehicle that has any of these features:

  • (ADAS) Advanced Driver Assistance System
  • Automatic Headlamp Dimmer
  • HUD – Head Up Display (HUD)
  • Rear Collision Warning (RCW)
  • Blind Spot Detection (BSD)
  • Around View Monitoring (AVM)
  • Night Vision (NV)
  • Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
  • If vehicle is equipped with electronic power steering and a suspension alignment is performed

These complicated systems need skilled technicians who know what to look for and how to fix them right. Bring your vehicle in to the expert technicans at Stadium Auto Body!
